The buzz of the holidays has subsided and we look forward to many events and author visits in the Children's Department in the coming months.  Plans for January are still unfolding, but February promises visits from three authors we hope you will meet. 

Debbie Miller, author of numerous nature and children’s books about Alaska, will pay her annual visit to the store on Thursday, February 12, from 4 – 6 p.m.  February Coming on Wednesday,  February 25 is N.D.Wilson, who has written the second book in his series of The 100 Cupboards.   In  Dandelion Fire,  Henry makes a bold decision to go through the cupboards to find the truth about where he is from and who his parents are.  Wilson's visit will coincide with Highcrest School's bookfair so the Children's Department will be happily busy.
