"Sometimes people become known for doing a job which masks their truer selves. Valerie may work as an actress but what she is, is a cook...and a damn fine one at that. I've spent time with her in the kitchen and enjoyed the pleasures of her table, and with this book, I'm happy to say everyone else can too."-- Alton Brown
Valerie Bertinelli hosts her own Food Network cooking show called Valerie's Home Cooking, reaching 1.5 million weekly viewers, and co-hosts Kids Baking Championship on the network. Bertinelli is well-known for her starring roles on the shows One Day at a Time and Hot in Cleveland.
