Doug Cenko is the illustrator of Cats! and Cows!, and the author/illustrator of My Mama is a Mechanic and My Papa is a Princess. He lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter. He also lives with a few bugs, but he doesn't bother them as long as they don't bother him. Dr. John Hutton is a pediatrician and author from Cincinnati, OH. His research involves the importance of home reading practices and nurturing real-world experiences to promote early brain development and literacy.
