Austin Tichenor, Pop-Up Shakespeare at The Book Stall

We are delighted to partner with Northlight Theatre for an evening at The Book Stall with Austin Tichenor, noted Shakespearean actor and co-author of Pop-Up Shakespeare. He’ll be talking about his craft, sharing some portions of The Book of Will, currently playing at Northlight Theatre, and signing copies of his new book. Theater fans from 9 – 90 will want to catch this chance to learn more about the Bard, and some lucky attendees will win tickets to The Book of Will.

AUSTIN TICHENOR  makes his Northlight Theatre debut in The Book of Will. He’s appeared in Chicago at Lookingglass, Back Room Shakespeare, and Writers Theatre. As co-artistic director of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, he’s appeared off-Broadway, in London’s West End, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, the White House, and theaters across the country. TV credits include The West Wing, The Practice, Ally McBeal, Felicity, Gilmore Girls, Alias, 24, and The X-Files. He’s the co-author of the illustrated children’s book Pop-Up Shakespeare, and  co-wrote and starred in William Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play (abridged) (Folger Theatre, 2016), and nine other “Complete (abridged)” comedies. He produces and hosts the Reduced Shakespeare Company Podcast. Follow him on Twitter: @austintichenor
