Cammie McGovern at the Vernon Area Public Library

We're pleased to welcome CAMMIE McGOVERN to the Vernon Area Public Library on Tues., Apr. 25th at 7 p.m. to discuss her novel JUST MY LUCK and her new book, CHESTER AND GUS. Register by calling the Vernon Area Public Library at 224-543-1486, in person at any service desk at the library, or online here:

McGovern will speak about her advocacy for the special needs community. As the parent of a son with autism and a founder of Whole Children, a resource center that runs after-school classes and programs for children with special needs, Cammie draws from her connections with this underrepresented minority to show that the cornerstones of our personalities are essentially the same.

Cammie McGovern is the author of Say What You Will as well as the adult novels Neighborhood WatchEye Contact, and The Art of Seeing. She lives in Amherst, Massachusetts, with her husband and three children.
