Our friend Lowey Bundy Sichol, author the "From An Idea to..." series, has worked with the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library to organize the coolest event of the summer: Winnetka IDEA Tank for Kids!
We're so excited to see what entrepenurial ideas kids from all over Chicagoland come up with, and we'll be on hand to join the celebration (and help with the prizes) as well as offer copies of Lowey's two latest books, From an Idea to Google: How Innovation at Google Changed the World, and From an Idea to Lego: The Building Bricks Behind the World's Biggest Toy Company.
Note that due to overwhelming interest, registration to present at this event is full. Kids can still add themselves on to the waitlist. And even if you can't present your great idea this time, come attend and see what the thinkers and entrepeneurs of the future are coming up with!

CALLING ALL KID ENTREPRENEURS!
On Wednesday, July 17, at 7 PM , kids from Chicagoland (age 8-14) get a chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of “Sharks” - Chicago’s very own successful executives and entrepreneurs - for a chance to win cash prizes!
Grand Prize: $1,000
Cash prizes to the top five ideas. Non-cash prizes to all registrants.
This event is open to ALL kids throughout the Chicagoland area.

Lowey Bundy Sichol is the author and creator of From an Idea to..., the world's first business biographies for kids. She is also the founder and principal of Case Marketing, a specialized writing firm that composes MBA case studies for business schools. Her MBA case studies have been published by Pearson and are read by business school students all over the world.
Lowey received her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and her BA from Hamilton College where she played varsity softball and women's rugby. When she's not writing, you can find her throwing a ball, shooting hoops, or along the shores of Lake Michigan with her husband, three children, and two big goofy dogs who like to climb trees.
