Saturday Storytime: Owls Are Good At Keeping Secrets!

We are so happy that our friend Jacob Grant is joining us as special guest star for this edition of Saturday Storytime. He'll be drawing for us, and signing copies of his new book, Owls Are Good at Keeping Secrets, Did you know that chipmunks love to stay up past their bedtime? Or that dragons cry at happy endings? I bet you’d never have guessed that iguanas sometimes get homesick at sleepovers.

In this delightful alphabet book, written by Sara O'leary and illustrated by Jacob, kids will love to see their own quirks reflected in Jacob's adorably rendered creatures, and perhaps will be comforted to know that–just like them–narwhals can be perfectly happy all on their own and quail also get tired of being told to be quiet.

We're so happy to welcome Jacob back.  Please come out and join in the fun. Recommended for picture book fans from 3 - 103. Can't make it to the event?  Call us at 847-446-8880, and we'll be happy to arrange an autographed copy for you.

Jacob Grant is the author and illustrator of Scaredy KateLittle Bird's Bad Word, Cat Knit, and Bear's Scare. He is a winner of the annual Don Freeman Work In-Progress Grant by the SCBWI. Jacob lives in Chicago with his family. Find out more at www.jacobgrantbooks.com.
